Just had the most incredible week on an install in Tulsa building a new large scale Pod. I think of these bigger ones as Sensory Concentration Spaces, building on the one I created for Unilever in the past. It’s about creating a blank space where you can concentrate on whatever you want to bring into focus, your body, your friends or your imagination. This Pod was commissioned by the wonderful Tish Woodbury for Poppies Spa, and she has been such a pleasure to work with. She approached me with a true faith in my work, and has allowed me to explore and create something unique for her. I was able to try a new fabrication technique using the recycled PET felt I have become so fond of. I’ll share professional pictures when they come in, but for now here are some snaps of the process.
